Neymar Junior's father sent a large amount of money to Dani Alves.

Football media outlet Tribuna reported on September 9 (KST), "Neymar's father has sent 150,000 euros (KRW 216 million) to a Spanish court. This could help reduce Dani Alves' sentence," Tribuna reported.

Alves was once an attacking flanker. His ability to get into the attacking third allowed him to break down opposing flanks. Alves was at his best at Barcelona. Starting in the 2008/09 season, he won six league titles with Barcelona. He also won the Copa del Rey four times.

He finished at the top of the UEFA Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup three times. He also won trophies in Serie A and Ligue 1 with Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain. In total, he won 43 trophies. That's second only to Lionel Messi on the all-time list.

It wasn't just his teams that were successful, he was also a world-class individual. He was named to the FIFA World Best 11 eight times. He was named to the UEFA Team of the Year five times. His personal and team performances were perfectly matched.

At the end of his career, Alves moved to Mexican league club Clube Universidad Nacional. That's when things went wrong. In December 2022, he was arrested for sexually assaulting a woman at his club in Barcelona. He has been detained by Barcelona since January.

The club terminated his contract. Alves' statement was later recanted and evidence was found on the woman's body. Alves applied for bail in a Spanish court, but the court rejected it, citing flight concerns.

The Spanish prosecutor stated, "Alves' violence left the woman shocked and unable to react. At the time of the attack, she was unable to breathe due to fear," and that "the victim suffered from intense post-traumatic stress disorder." 바카라사이트

Spanish prosecutors asked for nine years in prison and compensation for damages. They also asked for 10 years of probation and a 1,000-meter proximity and communication ban to the victim for the same period.

According to Tribuna, Neymar's father transferred €150,000 to the Spanish court to help Alves. The outlet said, "This is described as compensatory mitigation for the damage. If Alves is found guilty, it could help reduce his prison sentence."

"You might wonder why a famous player like Alves would need money. He explains that his assets were blocked after he separated from his ex-wife. To resolve the matter, he was represented by one of the oldest legal representatives of Neymar's company."

Alves is currently awaiting trial. The odds are not in Alves' favor. It's possible that he could be sentenced to the full nine years in prison that prosecutors are seeking.
